Ever wondered what happens to leftover wool after a production run? Here at Jolly Good Yarn, we're passionate about minimizing waste and maximizing creativity. Our 100g aran / chunky upcycled wool is crafted spinning mill waste and spool ends.

During the process of spinning yarn in wool mills, there can be unavoidable trimmings and leftover bits. Instead of letting them go to waste, they are instead spun in to this upcycled wool. Production runs sometimes end with leftover spools of yarn that might otherwise be discarded, and these again can be spun in to our soft upcycled wool. 

Choosing upcycled wool yarn allows you to make a positive impact on the environment while enjoying the luxurious feel of 100% wool. It's a win-win situation! Our super-soft balls of 100% upcycled wool, provide approximately 190 meters of yarn for your crafting pleasure.
