Who is Jolly Good Yarn?

We're an independent UK yarn business, based in Exeter, Devon. We sell a wide variety of recycled and upcycled yarns and macrame cords. Since our launch in 2014 as 'T-Shirt Yarn Shop,' we've grown to serve knitters and crocheters across the UK and North America through our online shop as well as Etsy, Amazon, and eBay.

How do I place an order?

We're an online only shop, and therefore all orders need to be placed via our website. The easiest way to navigate the site is by using the menu at the top of your screen. Once you've found a product you want, simply click Add to Basket and then when you're ready you can checkout directly online paying securely with all major cards and services.

Do you offer discounts / vouchers?

We offer a rewards scheme which allows you to earn up to 5% cashback in the form of points. Simply click the 'Rewards' button at the bottom left of your screen to join up.

If you're looking to place a big order, over £150, then you can use the voucher code of OVER150 at checkout to get 10% off your basket.

What are your delivery costs?

We've put all of our postal options and prices, as well as any exclusions, on a dedicated page here.

Can I request a specific dye lot?

Due to the recycled nature of our products, they don't typically come with the traditional dye lot or batch numbers. However, our team is trained to always send out matching or near identical shades, and they'll contact you in advance if there's ever an issue.

Do you offer returns?

Yes, we offer 30 day returns as standard across our entire range of products. If you want to return a product because you've changed your mind, then you will need to cover the return shipping cost. If the product is faulty then we will refund you the cost of shipping. Full details are on our refund policy page.

My order hasn't arrived yet

The majority of our parcels are sent with full tracking. You will have been sent your tracking number when you placed your order, but sometimes this can end up in your junk/spam folder. If you can't find your tracking number, or there is an issue with the delivery, please get in touch using the details below.
