CLEARANCE YARN! 2-3cm dirt mark on one side. This is a heavily discounted ball of t-shirt yarn. You're still getting an approx. 700-800g ball, with about 100m of recycled textile. However, there may be more imperfections than normal, for example more pin holes from machinery, or there could be spots of dirt or small stains. The level of discount is a good indicator of the state of each clearance yarn. The photo is for guidance only and may vary slightly. If you order more than 1 ball we will ensure they are a matching shade.

Our yarns are made from left-over textiles, sourced from mills and factories. Saved from landfill, the cotton is spun into our macrame cords, or cut into strips for t-shirt yarn.

We buy A LOT of Herdwick wool from local farmers, around 30 tons a year. Our other wool products are made in the UK using UK wool.

We're passionate about the environment! Our premises are run on renewables, we use recycled materials for our packaging, and 10% of all our profit goes to buying land and planting trees in Cumbria.
