Elevate your sustainable crafting projects with our 5mm Shaldon Yellow Braided Cotton Cord from Jolly Good Yarn. Sourced from recycled cotton, it’s created by upcycling textile offcuts and discarded clothing, reducing landfill waste while promoting eco-conscious creativity.

With its smooth braided texture and no polyester core, this cord is perfect for macramé, crochet, weaving, and chunky knitting. Soft yet durable, it provides excellent structure for detailed knots and designs.

  • Eco-friendly & sustainable – produced from recycled materials
  • Soft, strong & versatile – ideal for a variety of textile fibre arts
  • 500g hank with approximately 100m of cord
  • 8-12mm hook works well for crochet

Because it’s made from recycled sources, slight colour variations may occur between batches. For best results, purchase enough cord to complete your project.

  • Strands of red, purple and turquoise recycled cotton thread being processed

    Eco-Friendly Yarn

Our yarns are made from left-over textiles, sourced from mills and factories. Saved from landfill, the cotton is spun into our macrame cords, or cut into strips for t-shirt yarn.
