Here we've got a trio of white yarns. They won't be the same as the photograph, but they will all be lovely white T-Shirt yarn. They may be similar whites, or they may be contrasting whites. It's up to you and your creativity how you use them! Put your photos on social media and tag us - we love seeing what creative things you make with our T-Shirt yarn.
The recycled yarn is made from strips of T-Shirt fabric that are knotted together. Each skein of yarn is 100m - 120m long. They may contain some needle holes from the manufacturing process, and will have some uneven-ness to them, but this all adds to the character and interest of the eco-yarn. It's quite chunky, and is perfect for crochet, macrame, weaving, loom knitting and more. Generally, we recommend an 8mm, 10mm or 12mm crochet hook, but for larger projects you can even go up to 25mm with this yarn.
Each individual ball of yarn weighs 0.75kg making the total weight of the pack of three 2.25kg.

Eco-Friendly Yarn
Our yarns are made from left-over textiles, sourced from mills and factories. Saved from landfill, the cotton is spun into our macrame cords, or cut into strips for t-shirt yarn.

We buy A LOT of Herdwick wool from local farmers, around 30 tons a year. Our other wool products are made in the UK using UK wool.

We're passionate about the environment! Our premises are run on renewables, we use recycled materials for our packaging, and 10% of all our profit goes to buying land and planting trees in Cumbria.
